I need to mill/turn NPT threads. Do you have a version of the CAD models with threads removed?

Yes! If you’re using the SolidWorks .SLDLFP library file, disable the “Thread” and “Thread-End” features in the feature tree. If you’re using the .STEP library file, please contact [email protected] and we will send you another .STEP file with all threads removed.

Does the library work with SolidWorks 2020?

Yes, all SolidWorks versions from 2019 to present are supported. If you are using SolidWorks 2018 or earlier please contact us.

In the male NPT thread library, many of the threads are incomplete at the tip. Does this comply with ANSI/ASME B1.20.1?

Yes. When designing the thread geometry based on ASME B1.20.1 tables and equations, you end up with a length of complete threads (L5) that is much smaller than the total threaded length. Please see Figure 3 and Section 3.1.7 of the ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standard for details. By default our CAD models comply with the standard, but you can customize the SolidWorks library to output any length of complete threads you want. Here’s a video showing how: https://youtu.be/oQRAQDEWNgM

What happens if I lose my downloaded file?

Send us an email asking for a new download link. We’ll need your name, the email address you used, and the PayPal transaction ID from your original order.

How can I make the NPT threads longer than standard?

Here are two videos showing how to modify the threads using our SolidWorks library:

Female: https://youtu.be/pkmtLpT9zjo

Can I share this file with the rest of my company?

Yes. See our Terms and Conditions for more details.

After entering my credit card information all I see is “payment pending”

If you pay using PayPal or credit card the download link will appear as soon as the payment is processed, which should only take a few seconds. If the payment takes longer than 30 seconds to process we will email you a download link as soon as PayPal clears your payment. This should only take a few minutes.

Why does the pay now button forward me to another website?

We use a combination of paypal.com to process payments, fatfreecartpro.com to manage your shopping cart, and e-junkie.com to securely send the download link to you. Verifiedcad.com is owned by Yoder Mechatronic LLC, which is the business name you’ll see on your credit card statement.
